About Us

The Shoshone County Women’s Resource Center was founded in 1981 by a group of caring community members. These women saw the need for survivor services in the Silver Valley, and worked tirelessly to establish an organization that offers support to women impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes. In 2015, we retitled the organization to reflect the fact that we serve all folks.

With two offices on opposite sides of the Silver Valley, our team is dedicated to providing support and guidance to those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other violent crimes. We understand the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment for survivors to seek the help they deserve. Your story is important, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Don't hesitate to reach out. You are not alone, and we are committed to helping you through this journey, however you need. Our doors are always open, and our hearts are ready to listen.

You are strong, and we are here to empower and support you.
